Evolve Scientific in Pemulwuy, NSW, is seeking 3 Moulder Technicians to join a high-volume blow moulding operation. You will help run and optimise lines, ensure safety, quality and output targets, and troubleshoot equipment faults across vision inspection, leak testers and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Background in plastics processing and blow moulding.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated lines.
• Experience in food-grade or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Sound understanding of WHS, Quality and Food Safety requirements.
• Positive, hands-on approach with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently to meet production requirements.
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance and production output.
• Manage machine start-ups, stoppages and process adjustments.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and escalate maintenance as needed.
• Capture and record downtime using the shop floor system.
• Monitor production performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support continuous operation of blow moulders, leak testers, vision systems, conveyors and bagging equipment.
• Assist with line changeovers and process optimisation activities.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to WHS and Food Safety requirements.

About the Company

Our client is a leading plastic packaging manufacturer, supplying food-grade containers to major dairy and beverage brands across Australia. The business has recently invested in a brand-new, purpose-built blow moulding facility in Pemulwuy, NSW, positioning it among the most advanced sites globally.

About the Role

We are seeking 3Moulder Technicians to join a high-volume blow moulding operation based in Pemulwuy, NSW. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring production lines operate safely, efficiently, and in line with production targets while maintaining quality, food safety, and operational standards.

This role will see you supporting the continuous operation of blow moulding equipment and downstream systems including vision inspection, leak testing, conveyors, grinders, and bagging equipment. You will play a key role in machine performance, troubleshooting, downtime reporting, and maintaining production efficiency across the shift.

Duties

• Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently to meet production requirements
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and production output
• Manage machine start-ups, stoppages, and process adjustments
• Ensure products consistently meet quality specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and elevate maintenance issues when required
• Capture and record downtime using the shop floor management system
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support continuous operation of blow moulders, leak testers, vision systems, conveyors, and bagging equipment
• Assist with line changeovers and process optimisation activities
• Maintain housekeeping standards across production areasAdhere to WHS, Food Safety, and Quality Management System requirements

Skills / Experience

• Background in plastics processing, blow moulding, injection moulding.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environments
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving ability
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated production lines
• Experience within food-grade, FMCG, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Sound understanding of WHS, Quality, and Food Safety requirements
• Positive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
