Job summary

EPSA Pacific at the Callide Mine in Queensland is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance crews and ensure the safe, reliable operation of mining plant and equipment.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will prioritise safety through hazard identification and risk management, coach and develop team members, manage work orders and closeouts, and drive the maintenance plan within a dynamic, family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Certificate Standard 11 required.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence.
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to complete.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Demonstrate positive safety leadership and behaviour.
• People management and development experience.
• Experience with mining plant maintenance at medium/large operators.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with planning and scheduling.
• G1/G8/G9 tickets required.
• Australian trade qualification with extensive experience in maintenance of mining plant and equipment.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance activities prioritise safety through hazard identification and risk management.
• Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and developmental activities to team members.
• Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies.
• Provide leadership to workshop maintenance crews to achieve the maintenance plan.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager & Superintendents in implementing safety plans.
• Track maintenance performance and ensure operational issues are communicated timely.
