Job summary

29Metals is seeking a Mechanical Leading Hand to join the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. You will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and lead maintenance personnel, focusing on keeping surface and underground equipment running on a 2:2 roster (day and night shifts).

You will prioritise resources, drive safety, and use CMMS (Pronto) for maintenance planning, JHA creation, SOP development, and alignment with site policies to support operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong prioritisation and resource management skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems, particularly Pronto.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance personnel and coordinate activities on surface and underground equipment.
• Prioritise resources to maximise uptime and safety.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Supervisor and site policies, drive safety and performance.
• Utilise CMMS (Pronto) for planning and documentation (JHA, SOP).
