Job summary

29Metals is seeking a Mechanical Leading Hand to join the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. You will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and work on a 2:2 roster (day and night shifts), focusing on maintaining surface and underground equipment.

You will lead maintenance personnel, prioritise resources, and drive safety and operational performance, including CMMS (Pronto) usage, JHA creation, SOP development, and alignment with site policies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance background with fixed plant experience.
• Experience in leading teams and coordinating maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance in mining environments.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise resources and coordinate weekly work scope.
• Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of CMMS (Pronto).
• Regularly inspect mechanical assets to meet site requirements.
• Carry out a JHA and develop SOP for mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Supervisor to align daily/weekly work with the schedule.
• Support and implement all site policies including OH&S and environmental guidelines.
