Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a senior mechanical engineering lead to own the design and delivery of test fixtures, assembly tooling, and RF chambers for RF/thermal/mechanical validation. You will lead the full lifecycle from concept through commissioning, enforce GD&T rigor, and mentor junior engineers.

You will collaborate with internal manufacturing partners and external vendors on large capital builds while setting design standards and ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years in mechanical design of tooling, fixtures, or test equipment.
• Experience with 3D CAD and PLM systems for parts and drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stackups.
• Experience with structural/thermal FEA validation.
• Project management and vendor coordination experience.
• Leadership in design reviews and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own full design lifecycle of test fixtures, tooling, and RF chambers.
• Lead design reviews, GD&T rigor, and metrology validation.
• Coordinate with internal manufacturing and external vendors.
