Job summary

Sedgman seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth team on a 12-month contract, delivering technical leadership across minerals processing projects. You will mentor engineering teams, collaborate with clients and multi-discipline stakeholders, and drive high-quality mechanical design and analysis across greenfield and brownfield scopes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of industry experience across multi-discipline projects.
• Experience leading mechanical and piping design, tanks and vessels, including FEA.
• Ability to mentor teams and engage stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering scopes for minerals processing projects and ensure compliance with client standards.
• Provide mechanical design and analysis for piping, tanks, vessels, and rotating equipment, including risk assessments.
• Oversee and manage mechanical and piping discipline delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
