Job summary

Sedgman GmbH in Perth, Australia, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer on a 12-month contract to lead and mentor engineering teams across minerals processing projects. The role offers technical leadership and the opportunity to deliver design and commissioning across greenfield and brownfield sites.

You will work with clients and multi-discipline stakeholders to develop practical solutions, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical (Process) Engineering.
• 10 years of relevant engineering experience in Mining & Metals.
• 5+ years demonstrable commissioning lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Senior Process engineering scopes for minerals processing and mining projects, ensuring technical compliance with client standards, and seamless integration into new and existing facilities.
• Provide design and analysis for mineral processing projects. Working through all phases from concept to execution.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Oversee and manage the Process discipline project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, clients, and site personnel to develop and implement practical engineering solutions
