Job summary

SL³ Consulting is a building services engineering consultancy based in Sydney. We seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical building services across diverse projects, from concept through documentation and construction.

The role requires 8+ years' Australian building services experience, strong HVAC delivery, and a hands-on, collaborative approach within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant professional experience in mechanical building services.
• Strong capability in HVAC design from concept through construction.
• Knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and building services codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to construction.
• Develop technically robust and coordinated engineering solutions.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports, drawings and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural and other disciplines.
• Manage project deliverables, programmes and resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
