Job summary

Moreton ATSICHS is seeking a Nurse Educator BECS to support infants and young children and promote family wellbeing across our MATSICHS clinics in South East Queensland. The role delivers health promotion, developmental assessments and integrated care with primary care, Family Wellbeing, and paediatric services.

Qualifications

• Current Criminal History Check.
• AHPRA registration as a nurse or midwife.
• Maternal and child health interest and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day health service activities to designated communities within Primary Health Care in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.
• Assist families' transition and encourage continued engagement with their local medical service throughout their involvement with the Hub.
• Ensure infants and children have a current completed 715 Health Assessment, commencing at 6 weeks of age; promote access and uptake of 715 Health Assessments by parents, siblings and caregivers.
• Provide culturally safe home visits to women who are eligible for the child health services and their families.
