Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment is partnering with a growing food manufacturing site in Young, NSW to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor. You will lead a team of skilled tradespeople, drive maintenance strategy, and play a key role in site improvements and reliability.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities while mentoring your team and promoting a safe, high-performance culture. This is a hands-on leadership role on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
• Strong fault finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive leadership style with a passion for developing people.
• Onshore work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance tradespeople.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, labour allocation and resources.
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Support capital projects, plant upgrades and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with production and operational stakeholders.
• Champion a positive safety culture across the site.
