HMG Hardchrome is seeking a hands-on Leading Hand for the Large Line in our Production Department at Pinkenba, Brisbane. You will lead by example, coordinate daily workflow, support production staff, and ensure safety and quality targets are met in a busy workshop environment.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and offers a stable, full-time position with opportunities to advance in a well-established business within the Sime Industrial Network.

Qualifikationen

• Australian recognised trade qualification as Fitter/Machinist (essential).
• Proven experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
• Leading Hand or supervisory experience desired.
• Strong understanding of production processes and safety requirements.
• Lead by example and support a high-performing team.
• Clear communication and ability to coordinate work effectively.
• Commitment to quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

HMG Hardchrome is seeking applications from experienced, trade-qualified Fitter/Machinists for a permanent Machine Shop Leading Hand role within our Production Department (Large Line).

This opportunity is suited to a hands-on leader who enjoys working on the tools, leading by example, supporting team performance, and delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes in a busy workshop environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this permanent, full-time role will see you provide day-to-day leadership and operational support across the Large Line within our Production Department.

You will coordinate workflow on the floor, actively support production staff, uphold safety standards, and ensure production targets and quality requirements are consistently achieved.
