Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Supervisor - LV & Ancillary Mount Isa to lead the light vehicle workshop and ensure safe, reliable maintenance of mining-spec fleets. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, prioritise breakdown repairs, and coordinate with contractors to meet standards.

The role requires a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, a valid driver's licence, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment with SAP expertise.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent trade qualification.
• A valid driver's licence is required.
• Strong technical background in maintaining mining-spec light vehicles such as Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser fleets.
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Proficient in maintenance systems, including SAP.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including supervising, mentoring and coordinating maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the LV and Ancillary workshop and ensure safe, reliable maintenance execution.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance of light vehicles and support equipment.
• Prioritise and monitor breakdown repairs.
• Provide updates on equipment availability to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely, quality work and compliance.
• Support long-term planning and schedule improvement efforts.
