Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site workshop in Queensland's mining sector. You will manage maintenance tasks for light vehicles and ancillary equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and timely repairs.

You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with contractors while using SAP to monitor performance and availability of equipment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Strong supervisory experience in mining/heavy industrial environments.
• Proficiency with SAP and maintenance systems.

Requirements

• Completion of a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent trade qualification
• A valid driver’s licence
• Strong technical background in maintaining mining-spec light vehicles, such as Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser fleets
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Proficient in maintenance systems, including SAP
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including supervising, mentoring and coordinating maintenance teams
