Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site workshop in Queensland's mining sector. You will manage maintenance tasks for light vehicles and ancillary equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and timely repairs.

You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with contractors while using SAP to monitor performance and availability of equipment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Strong supervisory experience in mining/heavy industrial environments.
• Proficiency with SAP and maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Light Vehicle and Ancillary workshop.
• Be accountable for safe and reliable execution of maintenance tasks.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance of light vehicles and support equipment, including service trucks, pumps, generators and trailers.
• Prioritise and monitor breakdown repairs.
• Provide updates on equipment availability to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure work is completed in a timely manner and to standard.
• Support long-term planning and schedule improvement efforts.
