You will lead a team of lighting artists, mentor their growth, and collaborate with environment artists, designers, and art directors to craft visually stunning scenes.

You will stay at the forefront of real-time rendering, color theory, and lighting workflows, ensuring art direction aligns with narrative clarity and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience as a Lighting Artist in the game development industry with a strong portfolio.
• Proven experience in a leadership or Lead Artist role guiding a team and overseeing lighting production.
• Proficiency with industry-standard lighting tools and techniques within game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity).

Responsibilities

• Lead the lighting art team, establishing and maintaining high standards for lighting quality, mood, and artistic consistency.
• Develop and implement lighting solutions for game environments, characters, and cinematics.
• Collaborate with art directors and level designers to achieve desired visual styles and storytelling goals through lighting.
• Optimize lighting performance to ensure smooth frame rates and efficient use of resources.
• Mentor junior lighting artists, providing technical and artistic feedback, and fostering their skill development.
• Stay current with lighting techniques, tools, and advancements in real-time rendering technology.
