Job summary

Pilbara Minerals is seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to maintain the LV and LT fleet across the Pilbara region. This permanent full-time role operates on an 8/6 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO, delivering safe and reliable vehicle performance for site operations.

You will join the Site Mobile Maintenance Team, performing inspections, servicing and repairs on Toyota, Hino and Isuzu vehicles, while upholding safety and workshop standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required and nationally recognised.
• High Risk Work Licences: Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence (C class).
• Mine site exposure with Light Vehicle/Light Truck maintenance a must.
• Strong safety culture and background in mining.
• Experience with workshop standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain and repair Light Vehicles and Light Trucks per manufacturer specs.
• Work with Site Mobile Maintenance Team to ensure safe, efficient inspections and repairs.
• Adhere to schedules, plans and targets; follow site procedures and instructions.
• Attend rostered shifts and comply with Fitness for Work policies.
• Communicate with Mobile Maintenance Workshop Supervisor daily.
