Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking a Lead Labourer in the Infrastructure Delivery branch to support civil infrastructure projects across Dubbo and Wellington. The role offers a hands-on position with opportunities to contribute to road construction, maintenance, and essential works that directly benefit the Dubbo region.

You will work in a team-focused environment, benefiting from a 9-day fortnight and a salary in the advertised range.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and skills in civil infrastructure related works such as plant operation, road construction and maintenance.
• Competent truck driving skills for a truck in the range up to 8t.
• Physical fitness to undertake the inherent requirements of the job.
• Basic literacy and numeracy
• Class MR Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to load trucks and shape earthworks.
• Execute civil works such as road construction and maintenance.
• Perform pothole patching, footpath work and pipelaying.
• Record information for works undertaken.
