Future Secure AI Inc. is seeking a hands‑on Lead IT Engineer, Identity, Security & IT Ops in Sydney to own identity, access, and security operations as we bring IT fully in‑house.

You will lead Entra ID, SSO, and privileged access reviews, while implementing IGA tooling and building runbooks for a scalable IT stack. You will collaborate with the Head of IT and IT Engineer, Support to cover endpoint, device, and network operations, ensuring policy alignment, audit readiness, and a secure

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT or systems administration, including identity‑or security‑adjacent work.
• Hands‑on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration experience.
• Experience reconciling identity data across multiple systems to close access and offboarding gaps.
• Familiarity with SOC/EDR/SIEM concepts and vendor management, even if you haven't operated these tools hands‑on day to day.
• Experience building documentation, runbooks, or operational processes from scratch.
• Strong experience partnering with non‑IT stakeholders and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Own Entra ID, SSO, and access governance end to end.
• Lead reconciliation of employee, contractor, and service accounts across Entra ID, HRIS, and contractor platform.
• Build and maintain identity and access inventory and quarterly access reviews.
• Own the privileged access review process and bring in‑house from the outsourced provider.
• Publish and enforce SSO/MFA coverage standards across critical applications.
• Select and roll out an IGA tool (net‑new purchase).
• Transition SOC coverage into an internally owned security operations capability (EDR/SIEM).
• Collaborate on tool selection and policy input with Security and Legal.
• Develop and maintain IT policy references and evidence mapping for audits.
