Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District invites applications for a specialised Interventional Radiographer at Liverpool Hospital. The role supports high-quality imaging services for the local and district population, applying current safety standards and professional judgment.

You will work in a collaborative environment, provide supervision of students and peers, and contribute to department procedures and protocols to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Medical Imaging from a recognised university and APHRA registration with eligibility to remain on the Medical Radiation Practice Board Registry.
• Current NSW EPA radiation licence is required.
• Demonstrated ability to train students and assess clinical experience within the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality Interventional Imaging service to patients, using up-to-date safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional knowledge and judgement across clinical and diagnostic tasks.
• Liaise with department managers, staff, private referrers and patients to ensure optimal care.
