NSW Health’s St George Hospital invites a Provisional Fellow in Interventional Radiology to join our tertiary trauma centre. You will manage the IR service under supervision, perform imaging-guided procedures, and contribute to reporting, triage, and post-procedure care.

The role offers broad exposure, multidisciplinary teamwork, and opportunities for teaching and professional development. Temporary Full Time until 6 February 2028 with 38 hours per week, salary $117,745–$147,664 per annum,

Qualifikationen

• MBBS or equivalent and registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team delivering patient care.
• Strong communication skills for clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
• Strong radiology skills and clinical judgement.
• Experience in teaching medical students and trainees.
• Interest in ongoing education and audit practices.

Aufgaben

• Manage interventional radiology service under supervision.
• Participate in all stages of imaging procedures: consent, performance, reporting.
• Provide guidance to clinicians, triage referrals, and patient care planning.
• Support undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training.
