Job summary

Studio 103, Brisbane-based award-winning interior design practice, invites an Associate to lead design teams and drive the delivery of high-end projects across commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.

You will work closely with the Design Director to oversee multiple projects, mentor designers, manage client expectations and contribute to the studio’s strategic growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Interior Design.
• 7+ years in a senior interior design role across multiple sectors.
• Experience leading project teams on complex design projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability.
• Commercially minded with budget and resource management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker focused on design excellence and studio growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Drive design quality, project performance and delivery across teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop designers.
• Manage client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Oversee resourcing, budgets, programmes and QA processes.
• Coordinate consultants and project teams for seamless delivery.
• Contribute to business development and studio growth initiatives.
• Support development of studio processes and standards.
