OTIC Group, based in Melbourne, is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a large DC consolidation program for a well-known ASX-listed client. The role combines hands-on technical oversight with strong leadership across multiple vendors and teams.

You will ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and security while guiding day‑to‑day operations, budgeting, and strategic planning. Local placement and Australian work rights are required.

Formación

• Experience managing multiple vendors and client stakeholders.
• Proven ability to maintain continuous availability and performance of infrastructure systems.
• Knowledge of network security, data protection, and disaster recovery practices.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage multiple vendors and client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ensure continuous availability and performance of critical infrastructure systems.
• Implement best practices for network security, data protection, and disaster recovery.
• Manage virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Lead capacity planning and infrastructure scaling efforts.
• Team leadership and project management.
• Oversee daily operations of the infrastructure team, assigning tasks and priorities.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects from planning through execution, delivering on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, manage resource allocation, and report progress to senior leadership.
• Foster collaboration and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Strategic planning and business case development.
• Collaborate with other departments to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals.
• Evaluate new technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Document infrastructure processes, standards, and configurations for knowledge sharing.
• Vendor and budget management.
• Work with vendors and third‑party providers to ensure high‑quality service and cost‑effective solutions.
• Manage budgets for infrastructure operations and projects.
