Job summary

Fugro-Geoteam AS in Adelaide, Australia, is seeking an experienced hydrographer to lead HIPP survey projects from planning to reporting, with involvement in airborne LiDAR and geophysical initiatives.

You will oversee data acquisition, processing and QA/QC, act as technical lead for survey operations, and contribute to tenders while collaborating with operations across offshore and coastal projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or recognised qualification in Hydrographic Survey.
• Level 1 Hydrographic Surveyor certification, or the ability to achieve Level 1 accreditation soon.
• Experience delivering vessel-based hydrographic surveys with QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of multibeam echosounders and GNSS positioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of HIPP hydrographic surveys from mobilisation to reporting.
• Oversee data acquisition, processing and QA/QC to standards.
• Act as technical lead for survey operations and equipment setup.
• Provide technical input for tenders and proposals.
• Collaborate with operations on marine geophysical, geotechnical and related projects.
