Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment – Muswellbrook is seeking an experienced HV Project Manager to join a major Australian energy operator at a regional NSW power station. You will lead the replacement of a 33kV switching station, guiding design through construction and commissioning.

You will manage delivery, budgets, schedules and key stakeholders, ensuring HSE and quality standards while coordinating contractors and internal teams throughout a 12–24 month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in HV project management.
• Electrical Engineering qualification
• Experience delivering HV substation or switching station projects
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery, budgets, schedules and risks.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and project requirements.
• Manage project reporting, cost control and documentation.
