Job summary
Hancock Iron Ore is seeking a Superintendent Hosting in Perth to lead the delivery, operation and continual improvement of our on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure. You will steer a high-performing team, ensure reliable, secure services, and align with business and technology requirements.
The role includes governance, budgeting and vendor management, with an emphasis on automation and modern operations.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience delivering hosting and platform services
- Experience managing enterprise hosting environments (on-prem/cloud)
- Strong knowledge of ITSM, incident, change and DR processes
- Exposure to mining/OT or Infrastructure as Code environments is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery and operational performance of on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure services
- Develop hosting platform roadmaps, lifecycle plans and capacity strategies
- Oversee availability, reliability, security and performance of hosting infrastructure
- Lead major incident, problem, change, disaster recovery and service continuity activities
- Manage budgets, vendors and service providers to optimise performance and value
- Drive platform modernisation, automation and AI-enabled capabilities
- Partner with Technology and business stakeholders to reduce technical debt and deliver improvements
