Job summary

Foxleigh Mine in Queensland's Bowen Basin seeks a Diesel Fitter to maintain haulage and ancillary equipment across the coal fleet. You will perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance, diagnose faults, and complete servicing and repairs to high safety and reliability standards.

The role offers a 12-hour shift pattern on a 7/7 roster, camp accommodation provided, and opportunities to work across Coal Haulage and Ancillary Equipment teams while ensuring compliance with site

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on haulage fleet and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to a high standard.
• Conduct inspections, servicing and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, transmission and drivetrain systems.
• Identify and report equipment defects and reliability concerns.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
• Support equipment reliability through quality workmanship.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards.
