Job summary

Linkforce is seeking experienced Leading Hands for our Bowen Basin operation in Queensland. This casual, ongoing long-term role operates on a 7/7 roster with lifestyle-friendly arrangements, starting in October.

You will lead a high-performing team delivering structural remediation and maintenance services at the CHPP site, ensuring work meets client and company standards. You’ll manage planning, scheduling and labour, liaise with clients and site personnel, and model safety, quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Shutdown as a Leading Hand.
• Heavy Fabrication trade qualification (AU recognised).
• G1/8/9 (previously S1/2/3) & G2 supervisor competencies.
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years).
• Standard 11.
• Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain).
• BMA Core Inductions or SC Number is Highly Advantageous.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - C class minimum.
• Clear communication and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively with site management and clients.
• An uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead works to ensure all is completed to client and company specifications.
• Lead a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables.
• Liaise with Linkforce clients and site-based personnel.
• Plan and schedule work and labour requirements.
• Monitor progress against the work schedule.
• Lead by example on the tools, promoting safety, quality workmanship and productive work.
• Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures.
