Job summary

Goulburn Golf Club is seeking a Head Greenkeeper with responsibility for maintaining the golf course to meet member and visitor expectations. The role is permanent and full-time with a remuneration package commensurate with experience.

Requirements include qualifications in turf management, experience in all facets of course maintenance, and knowledge of irrigation systems, chemical and fertiliser application, and WH&S. Applicants should demonstrate strong teamwork and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance.
• Appropriate qualifications in turf management.
• Experience in irrigation systems operation.
• Knowledge of applying chemicals and fertilisers with an accredited license.
• Sound knowledge of WH&S requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, professional and welcoming approach with members, guests and visitors.
• Develop and manage annual golf course operating and capital works budgets.
• Oversee course maintenance and infrastructure development.
• Operate and maintain turf machinery and irrigation systems.
• Collaborate with Club Manager, Greens Committee and Board of Directors.
