Job summary

Prodigal Capital, a global quantitative trading firm, seeks an experienced Senior Trader to own execution and risk across a multi-asset book. Based in Sydney, you will manage real-time trading across equity and commodity markets and lead a desk that operates around the clock across Asian, European and North American sessions.

You will mentor junior traders, help develop workflows and strategies, and set high standards for disciplined, autonomous trading with rigorous risk controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in trading, especially in quantitative or multi-asset environments.
• Ability to mentor junior traders and lead a desk.
• Strong analytical thinking and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Run trading execution and risk management across global equity and commodity markets.
• Mentor junior traders and help develop workflows and strategies.
• Take ownership of execution on a rotating, around-the-clock schedule and shape how the desk operates.
