Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and significant experience as a GIS professional, including spatial analysis, cartographic production, technical problem solving and the implementation of GIS solutions.
• Advanced GIS software skills and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new spatial technologies, platforms, and workflows.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to people with varying levels of knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conducting spatial research and analysis
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining spatial datasets
• Producing high-quality maps, visualisations, and web mapping products
• Identifying opportunities to improve spatial systems, automate processes and deliver business solutions
• Supporting internal clients on strategic, technical, and procedural issues
• Undertaking audits and ensuring relevant documentation is accurate
