Job summary

Liontown Limited seeks an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join Underground Technical Services at Kathleen Valley, WA, on an 8:6 FIFO roster. This senior role offers technical ownership and mentoring within a high-performing team, reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent.

You will lead geotechnical risk management, ground control standards, and input into mine planning, while ensuring data integrity, training, and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical or related engineering fields.
• Minimum 7 years’ geotechnical experience, underground hard rock mining preferred.
• Proven track record in risk management, ground control design and monitoring.
• Proficiency with numerical modelling and geotechnical software.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical risk management and hazard reporting for underground operations.
• Own ground control standards and monitoring system oversight.
• Provide input into short/medium term mine planning and design.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to-site training and data management.
