Job summary

Build Up Recruitment in Sydney's Lower North Shore is seeking a General Foreman to lead luxury Class 2 builds valued between $30M and $80M. This role suits someone who takes pride in delivering top-tier finishes and collaborates with a skilled team.

You will run day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors and vendors, support the Site Manager with programming, and maintain safety and quality. 5+ years in a similar role and a carpentry background are required.

Qualifications

• Carpentry trade background.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as General Foreman or Site Manager.
• Experience on high-end Class 2, complex residential or commercial builds.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate labour.
• Confident communicator with problem-solving ability.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and WHS standards.
• Commitment to quality and eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day on site, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries to keep the build on program.
• Support the Site Manager with programming and provide regular progress updates.
• Build strong relationships with the site team, trades and stakeholders.
• Identify variations and site issues early.
• Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, including site inductions.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
