Mount Isa Mines is seeking a Senior Superintendent - Fixed Plant Maintenance and Operations for George Fisher Mine in Mount Isa, Queensland. This residential role leads a multidisciplinary maintenance team and drives safe, reliable fixed plant performance, reporting to the Manager - Maintenance.

You will oversee Supervisors, manage budgets and maintenance priorities, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Formación

• Five to seven years experience in a comparable maintenance leadership role.
• Qualifications in engineering, maintenance management or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in underground mining including crushing and hoisting systems.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of fixed plant maintenance, reliability and asset management.
• Knowledge of risk management in a maintenance environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership, influencing and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and work across teams.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lead, engage and motivate a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
• Provide leadership to Supervisors within your area of responsibility.
• Oversee maintenance and reliability of fixed plant equipment for safe, reliable performance.
• Ensure activities align with asset management plans, including shutdown requirements.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and maximise availability.
• Oversee mechanical projects and ensure safe, effective delivery within parameters.
• Collaborate with operational and functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Manage budgets, resources and maintenance priorities.
• Identify and manage maintenance-related risks per standards and procedures.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Model and promote expected behaviours across the team and business.
