South32's GEMCO operation seeks a Lead Finance professional to oversee the mine's finance function and support sustainable value creation. The role reports to the Manager Commercial and involves managing budgets, forecasts and strategic analysis.

You will coordinate cost insights, capital investments, and ensure robust financial controls while collaborating across operations, commercial and corporate teams. FIFO from Cairns or Darwin is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience in large, listed environments (mining preferred).
• Experience leading professional finance teams in complex operations.
• Strong cost analysis and capital expenditure management skills.

• Provide cost insights and capital investment advice to inform decisions.
