Job summary

Newmont Australia is seeking a Lead, Facilities Management for the Tanami Mine Operations. The role involves planning and delivering site village infrastructure, catering, janitorial, access and transport services, and leading a small team to ensure service delivery excellence.

The position is on-site with a fixed-term commitment (12–16 months) and a FIFO roster from Perth, Darwin, Brisbane or Alice Springs, with mine village accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in business, logistics, facilities management or a related field.
• Experience in NPI-related mining operations, site village accommodation, facilities maintenance and logistics.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements in hospitality settings is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, budgeting and reporting with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute site accommodation village infrastructure, catering, janitorial, access and transport services.
• Provide leadership to a small team delivering service excellence across facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Newmont standards and regulatory requirements for NPI activities.
• Monitor contractor and vendor performance and maintain records including inspections and audits.
• Support risk management around site access and village operations and promote safety culture.
