Job summary

Expo Centric is seeking a Lead Fabricator to head hands-on production of custom exhibition stands, displays and cabinetry components in our WA workshop. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with CNC operators, and ensure quality and safety across all fabrication stages.

As a pivotal team leader, you’ll manage stock, supervise shop staff, and uphold WHS standards while driving continuous improvement in production processes.

Qualifications

• Trade background essential and apprenticeship completed.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and build processes.
• Experience using a range of workshop tools and machinery.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshop fabrication and assembly of exhibition stands, displays and cabinetry components.
• Interpret production drawings and translate them into finished products.
• Coordinate with CNC Operator on work orders and production requirements.
• Supervise workshop staff and allocate daily tasks.
• Maintain quality through in-process checks and final inspections before handover.
• Manage stock levels, material handling and re-ordering.
