Job summary

Peak Partners Recruitment Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist for a Central NSW operation. The role combines field execution with data interpretation, leading a geologist team and mentoring junior staff.

You will interpret geoscientific data, develop exploration targets, and manage expenditures while collaborating with site leadership and contractors to shape the project’s exploration direction.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in earth science (essential).
• Minimum 10 years' exploration experience (essential).
• Strong 3D geological interpretation and spatial awareness.
• Collaborative approach with ability to mentor geologists.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee field exploration programs and data interpretation.
• Present high-quality geological interpretations to generate drill targets.
• Develop exploration models from geological data and field observations.
• Mentor and train Project Geologists and Geotechnicians.
• Coordinate with drilling, geophysics contractors and site landholders.
• Manage exploration expenditure within delegated budget.
