Job summary

Xplore Resources is seeking Mineral Exploration Geologists to join projects across Queensland and NSW. These positions are available now, with flexibility across rosters and both long and short term engagements.

Based on-site in Queensland or NSW, you will support exploration programs, map and sample at sites, and interpret geological data to steer drilling campaigns. The role offers varied rosters, with FIFO/DIDO options and remote site expectations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related earth science discipline.
• Experience in mineral exploration (metalliferous and/or coal experience highly regarded).
• Comfortable working FIFO/DIDO or on remote site rosters.
• Current driver’s licence; a valid medical or ability to obtain one is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in the field.

Responsibilities

• Supporting exploration programs including mapping, logging, and sampling.
• Managing and interpreting geological data to guide drilling and exploration targets.
• Supervising or liaising with drilling crews and field technicians on site.
• Ensuring exploration work complies with safety, environmental, and reporting standards.
• Preparing technical reports and contributing to resource evaluation.
