Job summary

Fyfe is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Planner to join our NSW Planning team at an exciting growth stage. You will collaborate with Principal Planners and regulators to influence outcomes and shape project strategies.

You will lead complex environmental impact assessments and planning approvals for major projects, including state-significant developments, while mentoring junior staff and guiding process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of environmental planning experience.
• Experience leading complex EIA and approvals.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary inputs.
• Knowledge of EIS, Reviews of Environmental Factors and state planning requirements.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Mentoring junior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and approvals for major projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Drive planning deliverables with project timelines and budgets.
• Mentor consultants and graduate planners.
