Job summary

Fyfe is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Planner to join our NSW Planning team at an exciting stage of growth. This role leads complex environmental impact assessments and approvals while working within one of Australia’s leading multidisciplinary professional services firms.

You’ll coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, mentor junior professionals, and shape systems to improve how we work, with opportunities to influence major renewables, infrastructure and development projects across

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant environmental planning experience.
• Experience leading complex environmental impact assessments and approvals.
• Strong ability coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and leading workstreams.
• Passion for mentoring junior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and approvals for major projects, including state-significant developments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
• Drive project delivery and manage planning deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Mentor and develop consultants and graduate planners.
• Improve workflows and champion continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators and stakeholders to provide responsive advice.
