Job summary

Infineon is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Software & Data Science team in Western Australia. You will design, build, and deploy production-ready AI agents and multi-agent systems that automate complex business processes and augment decision-making across Finance and related functions.

You will architect enterprise-scale AI platforms, pipelines, and governance, applying data ingestion, ETL/ELT, RAG, and model orchestration. This role requires 3+ years in production AI and cloud-native tech.

Qualifications

Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
3+ years building production-grade software; 1+ year building LLM/Generative AI/Agentic AI.
Proven AI agents, autonomous workflows, or AI-enabled product delivery in production.
Experience with ML/AI, cloud-native tech, and modern software engineering practices.
Familiarity with regulated environments such as finance/manufacturing/semiconductor is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of enterprise AI agents and multi-agent systems.
Engineer scalable agentic AI solutions with secure, reliable platforms.
Architect end-to-end AI platforms and pipelines including data ingestion, ETL/ELT, RAG, and governance.
Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and tech teams to translate challenges into AI solutions.
Drive AI transformation and establish engineering standards and best practices.
