Job summary

Infineon Australia—AI Engineering team in the Center of Competence Analytics—offers an internship focused on Agentic AI, Hybrid Customer Journey optimization, and Supply Chain & Quality Analytics. You will design, develop, and deploy AI solutions with hands‑on exposure to ML, LLMs, RAG, and AI product development.

You will gain industry exposure in semiconductors, advance GenAI capabilities, and learn enterprise AI lifecycles from ingestion to production deployment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, ML or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG and AI app development experience.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow and AI tooling (LangChain, LangGraph).
• Understanding prompt engineering, AI orchestration, vector stores and knowledge retrieval.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container tech (Docker/OpenShift).
• Analytical thinker with good communication; eager to build production‑grade AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI engineers on ML, DL, LLM projects and AI inference.
• Analyze data and create visualizations to derive insights from large datasets.
• Design, develop, and deploy production‑ready AI and analytics solutions.
• Develop AI‑driven applications integrating ML capabilities into business processes.
• Contribute to scalable, real‑time AI systems and maintain data quality.
• Support operations with troubleshooting, enhancements and iterations.
• Build data pipelines to ingest and process data from diverse sources.
