Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Australia to lead the design, delivery and growth of overhead transmission line projects within the Transmission & Distribution business. You will build team capability, strengthen market presence and shape technical excellence across national programs.

You will mentor engineers, lead bids, and ensure SHEQ compliance while working in a hybrid environment with flexible arrangements across Australia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
Demonstrated leadership across people, projects and mentoring/coaching.
Strong background in overhead transmission line design and engineering.
Experience with PLS-CADD (TOWER/POLE) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of overhead transmission line projects across design, planning and execution phases.
Provide strong technical and people leadership, mentoring engineers and supporting capability uplift.
Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on continuous learning and development.
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian and international standards for design, testing and commissioning.
Support project delivery in a Project Director/Project Manager capacity where required.
Lead bids, proposals and strategic growth initiatives to secure new work.
