Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery and growth of overhead transmission line projects across Australia. You’ll mentor engineers, uplift team capability, and promote innovative, safe and sustainable engineering practices.

You’ll work in a hybrid model across Australia, collaborating with national teams to deliver major energy programs while building client relationships and pursuing new work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership across people, projects and mentoring.
• Strong background in overhead transmission line design and engineering.
• Experience with PLS-CADD (TOWER/POLE) highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of overhead transmission line projects across design, planning and execution.
• Provide strong technical and people leadership, mentoring engineers and capability uplift.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture with continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with Australian and international standards for design, testing and commissioning.
• Lead bids, proposals and strategic growth initiatives to secure new work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and influence market presence.
