Job summary

Schneider Electric Australia is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive a diverse portfolio of projects spanning automation, control systems, software, digital twin and industrial intelligence. You will lead technical delivery, manage customer outcomes and collaborate across Engineering, Sales, HSE, and Supply Chain to ensure success.

Reporting to the National Engineering Manager, you will shape solutions for the New Energy Landscape and mentor teams to develop skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Engineers Australia Certification is great).
• Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, data analytics, edge computing) and cybersecurity for industrial control systems is desirable.
• Familiarity with Schneider Electric offers, digital twins, ML applications and advanced automation strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership and oversight in relation to the delivery of various projects and services across automation, control systems, software, digital twin, and industrial intelligence.
• Lead project and services delivery including planning, scheduling, resource allocation/utilisation and overall customer delivery through proactive relationship management.
• Oversee on-site project tasks, ensuring HSE and quality requirements are met and manage key customer relationships with high levels of agile service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, productivity tools and best practices within a digitally driven organisation.
• Promote the company as a leading solutions provider focusing on opportunities and safe, on-time, on-budget completion of projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Pre-Sales, HSE, Supply Chain and others on local and global scales.
• Focus on customer delivery and satisfaction, supporting end users, partners, vendors, contractors, and others.
• Develop the workforce through ongoing professional development to maintain mastery within the team.
