Job summary

Transport for NSW in Sydney seeks a Manager Engineering (BMCS / Power Control Systems) to lead assurance, integration and performance of BMCS and PCS across the Sydney Metro network.

You will provide authoritative technical advice, ensure systems meet safety, availability and regulatory requirements, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support successful design, testing, readiness and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with complex station or building management/control systems.
• Experience in engineering assurance, systems integration, governance in rail/safety-critical env.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assurance for BMCS and PCS across platforms.
• Ensure safety, performance, availability and regulatory compliance.
• Manage integration with station MEP, communications, power and rail systems.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, readiness for service, transition to operations.
• Provide authoritative technical advice to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors and partners.
