Job summary

Transport for NSW – Sydney Metro is seeking a Manager Engineering (BMCS / Power Control Systems) for a permanent full-time role based in Sydney, NSW. You will lead engineering assurance for BMCS and PCS across the Sydney Metro network, providing technical guidance and ensuring safety, availability and performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders and oversee testing, commissioning and transition to operations to deliver reliable rail services.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex control systems in rail or infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assurance for BMCS and PCS and related systems.
• Ensure safety, performance, availability and regulatory compliance across design, delivery and operations.
• Manage BMCS/PCS integration with station MEP, communications, power and broader rail systems.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and transition to operations.
• Provide technical advice and engineering judgement to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors and partners to deliver safe, integrated outcomes.
