Job summary

Webuild, through Parklife Metro JV, seeks a Control Systems Engineer for our Orchard Hills site in Sydney, NSW. You will oversee testing and commissioning of BMCS, EACS, lighting, metering, fire systems, and tunnel ventilation controls, interfacing with electrical and mechanical teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and 3–5 years of commissioning experience on large construction projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of control systems design, installation, and operation.
Familiarity with commissioning software tools and equipment testing procedures.
Experience in commissioning for commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review project drawings, specifications, and system designs for scope and commissionability.
Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for control systems.
Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors to align T&C activities.
Monitor construction activities and identify punch items for T&C readiness.
Oversee T&C and V&V of control systems and related equipment.
