Job summary

EC Power, a division of EC Group, is seeking an Electrical Tradesman/Leading Hand for warehousing and commercial construction in Sydney. You will supervise electricians and apprentices, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure safe, efficient project delivery on site in Silverwater.

Overtime and occasional Saturdays apply. Strong leadership, licensed electrical trade status, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Warehousing and commercial fit-outs experience.
• Licensed Electrical Tradesman required.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and supervise teams.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on active project sites.
• Coordinate daily tasks, assign work, and manage schedules.
• Assist with project planning, staging, and progress reporting.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and uphold client expectations.
• Perform and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on site.
• Conduct safety inspections and lead toolbox talks.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Monitor material usage, equipment, and project budgets.
