Job summary

EC Group is offering an Electrical Apprenticeship in Sydney's Silverwater for 1st–4th year electricians. You’ll work with experienced tradespeople on warehouse and commercial fit-out projects, receiving structured training, mentoring, and exposure to electrical tasks while progressing through your apprenticeship.

The role is full-time, based in Silverwater, with hours 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and overtime with compensation plus occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• 1st–4th year electrical apprentice required.
• White Card preferred but not essential.
• Current Australian driver's licence required.
• Paid lunch breaks and tool allowance provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with commercial and industrial installations.
• Learn cable installation, conduit work, switchboard assembly and fit out tasks.
• Support troubleshooting and fault finding under supervision.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a safe work environment.
• Follow OH&S procedures and participate in toolbox talks.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high quality project outcomes.
• Develop skills in reading plans, layouts and electrical drawings.
• Gain exposure to project staging and site coordination.
